Membership Sales Consultant – Anytime Fitness, Welwyn Garden City

 

Membership Sales Consultant position available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for naturally driven sales person to be part of a 24/7 gym in the heart of Welwyn Garden City. Anytime Fitness is an exciting 24/7 gym franchise, with more than 4000 globally and more than 140 clubs currently open in the UK with customer service at its core.

We are looking for a naturally proactive, focussed, sales driven individual to be part of our Membership Sales Team who can generate fresh leads and convert them into membership sales. You will have an outgoing personality and be extremely confident in face-to-face meetings and on the telephone. Ideally you will be adept at social media and full of ideas how to reach prospective new members in the local area. You will also be processing membership admin and assisting existing members to gain the most from their membership.

Requirements:

The club is a 24/7 operation and you will be expected to work between 20 – 40 hours per week dependant on experience, which will include shift patterns and weekends and flexibility is a must and is important that you live within a reasonable commute to Welwyn Garden City.

Responsibilities and Duties

Promoting and representing the AF brand by generating awareness of the new club within the local catchment area. * Recruit new members in order to achieve set sales targets. * Provide precise information to prospective members in an efficient and professional manner. * Communicate with prospects by phone, e-mail and face-to -face * Planning and running marketing and member events in and out of club

Qualifications and Skills

Our ideal candidate will have experience selling in a target driven environment and will have excellent interpersonal and administrative skills. Previous handling of business social media accounts is an advantage, particularly Facebook and Instagram and any fitness qualifications are a bonus, however, your personality, customer service focus, drive and energy is more valuable than experience.
