Christmas Light Switch On Event
Our Christmas light switch on event was held on the 24th November. It was a fantastic event with X Factor stars James Michael and Shophie Habibis getting the party started. Shows were hosted by Heart FM breakfast DJ, Stuart Miles. Youngsters were also able to meet Zak and Panzee from CBeebies Zing Zillas. Thanks to Heart Fm and all the performers who truly helped to make the show complete.
On-line Charity Auction Success!
Howard Centre hosted its very first on-line charity auction which concluded on Friday 4th November. The auction had a total of 13 high-value lots up for grabs! The auction raised £1,120 and Barclays Bank have kindly donated a further £750 to the fund, making the total raised £1,870! This money is all being donated to the Isabel Hospice.

Welwyn Garden City Library

Library will move to the Howard Centre on Monday November 21st. The Library will offer a selection of fiction, non fiction, large print, talking books, DVD's, Cd's and childrens book.
It will have six PCs, including a 30 minute non bookable computer, and public wi-fi facilities. You can find them it on the first floor next to Starbucks.
