Meet Buster Bumblechops…

Calling all Moshi Monsters fans! The Moshi Bus continues its tour of the UK and the next stop is outside The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City.  The fun-filled Moshi Monsters Bus Shop will have Buster Bumblechops on board. Kids can meet and greet the Monstro City Moshlings expert and get an exclusive ‘Busling’ Topps trading card!  If that’s not enough, there’s even a slide running from the top of the bus to the bottom so that kids can have as much fun getting out as they did going in!

Hop on board the Moshi bus outside The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City, from Saturday 1^st June to Sunday 2^nd June 2013.  Find the Bus in front of our main entrance on Howardsgate.

Howard Linskey Book Signing at The Bookshop
Saturday 18th May

We are delighted to host the international launch of local author, Howard Linskey's new book, The Dead. The Dead is Howard Linskey's third book, continuing the adventures of Geordie gangster, David Blake, featured in the internationally bestselling titles The Drop & The Damage. The event will take place at The Bookshop between 3.00pm and 5.00pm on Saturday 18th May. Howard will be signing copies of The Dead our price £5.99 rrp £7.99. 

World Food Festival

Welwyn Garden City Town Centre Partnership and Oaklands College are hosting a World Food Festival on Saturday 18th May in the town centre. Enjoy food from around the world PLUS sports, activities, music, dance and much more right in front of the Howard Centre's main entrance.

Activities during the day include:

• Find food and craft market
• Food stalls and tasters
• Live cooking demonstrations
• Live music and entertainment
• Children's activities including henna tattoos and activity games
• Sports arena
• Picnic area
